“En Patmo” is a majestic holiday home for rent in Skala, the heart of the holy island of Patmos. A serene place hidden among small streets, geraniums and bougainvilleas next to Saint Ioannis church and just a few steps away from the central square and the harbor.

The property was originally owned by captain and merchant Pavlakis, a leading figure of Patmos in the 20th century. It is filled with old furniture and objects as well as overwhelming memories of family gatherings, emotional farewells, lazy Sunday mornings and warm summer nights. Owned now by the 3rd Pavlakis generation it underwent a meticulous restoration to return to its former glory.
The interiors combine contemporary pieces with antique references setting up a welcoming and refined ambiance while the outdoor areas offer generous views of the landscape and the eye-catching scenery. A perfect summer retreat for those who seek an elegant property to unwind and fully enjoy their days at the beautiful island.

Accommodation

En Patmo holiday home features two floors that can be rented either as a whole or separately.

The ground floor has a standard capacity of four persons that can also be extended to five or six persons upon request. It offers the luxury of two bedrooms and two bathrooms furnished and decorated to convey an atmosphere of absolute relaxation. Whitewashed walls alternate with exposed stones true to the Patmian architecture while large windows allow for plenty of sunshine and fresh air into the interior.
There is a bright and cozy living room with high ceilings and old wooden floorings. Adjacent to the living room is a generous dining area served by a well-appointed country style kitchen with all comforts, ideal for casual dinners with family and friends.
The cool, comfortable interiors spill out onto a nostalgic courtyard with stone built benches shaded by an old laurel tree, a delightful place to relax after a day in the sunshine.
The first floor similarly accommodates four persons featuring two elegant bedrooms and two bathrooms mainly in the tones of white and pastel beige. One or two extra persons can be added upon request. Various artifacts that decorate the rooms and the century old wooden floor create a relaxing atmosphere of island-chic sophistication. This floor is complemented by a combined living and dining area served by a fully equipped country style kitchen with an old marble sink.
The interior stretches away to a generous veranda that serves as an open air salon where guests can soak up the sun, enjoy the fresh breeze under the shade and get mesmerized by the stunning views of Chora, the monastery and the windmills.
